The rural landowner has a legal obligation to maintain, preserve, and utilize the protected natural places on their property effectively.
As a result, the owner must repair environmental damage, including reforesting and regularizing the environmental situation, not only by planting but also by caring for seedlings and species until filled the gaps, and cordon off protected areas to prevent animal access, and must pay for irreversible damage.
According to a recent court decision, the non-compliance with environmental regulations already causes potential damages, being liable to cause damage by itself, thus generating a legal duty to compensate.
