In the second half of 2021, the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo (TJSP) applied the General Law of Data Protection (LGPD) in at least 24 decisions. The decisions range from maintaining time-barred debts, liability for data leaks due to the action of hackers, liability for improper sharing of customer data with other companies, and internal leakage of customer information.
